AAAAA!!! And a darn great comment it was too... waaahaaahaaaaaa!!!!
Er, oops, excuse me...I do apologise for that outburst. It's just that I had received this simply wonderful morale boosting comment, and I was so anxious to have it posted, but, I don't know what happened, after I pressed the 'publish' button, it just...DISAPPEARED!!! AAAAAA!!!!!!!!!! I wish, I wish, I wish I could have that comment rewritten and resent, but sadly, things don't happen that way... I apologised to the sender, my dear childhood friend, for losing such precious words form her...
Well, it's not because I'm way over my head with pride for receiving a great comment about one of my projects. It's just that I'm always very doubtful and skeptical about the gifts I create : I always fear that it's not good enough, or the recipient may not like it, or it may not fit the recipient's requirement, or the recipient may go like..."Ha? What is this?!!", or "That's it?!!!"... You can ask my husband and my partners about how anxious and edgy I become everytime after I've completed a project. Until, of course, I receive their comments, and I am once again at peace. And alhamdulillah, so far, the comments have been favourable. But, that doesn't stop me from having those butterflies each time I work on something. So, when I read the comment that Tessa had written me about the AOGC gifts, tears actually started welling up in my eyes, tears of joy...and when I lost that comment somewhere in cyberspace, tears of "Geez! How stupid can I be?" really came out from my eyes!
The only thing I can do now is to post some pictures of the gifts that I, along with my Giftmagique partner and friendly associates which include Wiz and Tangerine, had created and duly delivered for her recent event in June 2009. Thanks also to KerepekLa, for their hands on support, always... :)
"Tree of Life"...for the Petronas 14th Asia Oil and Gas Conference...
...yup, the sarung ketupat was part of this exclusive package :)...
This was a delightful combination of JulesFudgies (bottom layer) and awesome WizCuppies (top layer)...
...the presentation for the food tasting/sampling round...
..."PETRONAS, in support of Malaysian talents"...
...hmmm...now I'm actually craving for cake...or durians! Yup, I think I'm gonna get me more durians... :)
Oh, one very important thing : I wish to sincerely apologise to Ms Azlina for her brownies order; insyaAllah I will make it up to you after you return from your outstation trip...

Jules has a new toy!
...the Black&Decker Compact Drill & Screwdriver...!
My father duly equipped me with DIY skills before I ventured out on my own. And, just like him, I'm a real sucker for cool tools :). This latest one was adoringly presented to me yesterday by darling husband, who gladly lets me take care of the Handy Manny works around the house! Ya, well, it was on promotional sale he said...sigh, that's my mommy life for me! I guess I'll start with the two cupboard doors in the kitchen; they came off after Damascus and Marrakesh decided to use them as monkey bars...sigh...boys...I guess I'll be handy mommy until they're all grown enough for me to pass on the skills to them... Wishful thinking? Hmmm....
Anyway, apart from the bazaar at Adni, I was also busy with a few gifts last weekend...
...a 2 tier box with handle; the bottom tier had a pelikat while the top tier had an assortment of chocolates...for La, thank you :)
...for Giftmagique for Microsoft...hope everyone had fun!
One thing I MUST start to re-learn soon (I MUST! I MUST!), before this year's Syawal, is making the sarung ketupat, coz they make the best deco and frills during Raya! This batch of ketupat casing was made by friends (yes, I am indeed very blessed, Alhamdulillah), for one of my gifts in early June 2009.
...so cool huh?...sarung ketupat with sweets and tidbits :)
I am currently trying to propose a special presentation of JulesFudgyliciousness and JulesDelightfulness, for this year's Raya. I'm still browsing everywhere possible to find something that I hope everyone will like...something that will make everyone happy and bring great Raya joy! Hopefully I'll find it, soon... :)

Jules at Sekolah Islam Adni Bazaar with KerepekLa
Hi there, hope everyone's fine and well...It's been rather sad about Michael Jackson; guess his songs will now be "Michael Jackson's Greatest Hits"...And Farrah Fawcett...she was indeed very strong, having battled cancer for as long as she did... I will remember them both with fond memories of growing up... :)
Tomorrow, Saturday, 27 June 2009, Sekolah Islam Adni will be organising a charity bazaar at their premise near Taman Sri Ukay along Jalan Ulu Kelang. My KerepekLa friends, Ann, Helena and Linda, are having a booth there, and they were kind enough to invite me to squat with them to sell my JulesFudgies! I may have some of my tins too, though I may not be there all the way from 8.30am-4.30pm coz I have a very tight gift deadline for the following day.
I've managed to alter a few of KerepekLa's boxes from their previous stock, just to share some very simple ideas of how you can turn an old box into something new and exciting. There are actually so many ways to decorate boxes to make them unique and exclusive, as well as fun too; but it all depends on your budget, your preference and the time that you have. They should be clearing these boxes (sans alteration/deco) off at irresistable prices at tomorrow's bazaar. Anyone keen on getting these boxes should visit them tomorrow. And, of course, there'll be Ann's yummy yummy chocolate chip cookies.

Jules is Mad About Ribbons!
Yess! I've certainly gone berserk about ribbons! I found these gorgeous, simply delicious ribbons on one of my routine scouting trips with Ann and Helena of Kerepek La today. I bought a few to try, so, I'm all pumped up now for my future tin and box decorating, or "altering" (the term used by professional scrappers and handicrafters), projects.
In the meantime, remember that simple orange box that is on sale? It still is, and here are a few very elementary decorating ideas...
This one is a bit more elaborate...I used acid free paper and self-adhesive felt die cut art strips from ScrappingGlitz, with a fiore noir and the noir velvet ribbons I bought earlier today...
...Voila! A completely different and undeniably striking look!...Wouldn't you want to cherish this "Pheasant Pride" keepsake box? :)

Jules wishes Happy Father's Day!
It was a very late night last night, and a rather early morning, coz the Ayah has to work today... But, it wasn't before his boys delighted him with a special surprise, that mommy gladly helped out with.... :)
...that's for Ayah who lives for luscious, prime beef steaks!Inside the tin was this specially made T-Shirt...
I also made a special tin for my father...hopefully he will always realise that he is very special to me and that has indeed been the best father to all the three of us...my sister, my brother and me. He is also definitely the best grandfather for all his grandchildren... :)... This special tin was filled with a cocktail of his favourite nuts - pistacchios, roasted peanuts and caramelised peanuts!
And, to a Rad Dad, from his Rad kids...a tin of JulesFudgies... :)
To all deserving fathers out there...Happy Father's Day! :)
..."Amazing" by Aerosmith...my boys' favourite singalong tune with Ayah...

Jules' Heart Melts...
...when Nadhrah the dearest shared this with me... Both Marrakesh and Zharif must have been about a year plus then, and they're on their way to the big 3 now! I SO love the picture, that moment, and this beautiful canvas....I've asked Nadhrah to keep it safe so that when the boys are grown they can look back on it and be delighted!
...sigh... am waiting for my fudgy to cool, to cut them into bite pieces and pack them nicely into my tin... hopefully it'll bring smiles to one very blessed dad today... :) Meantime, will pack a sandwich for Esfahan, he's requested "jam only", plus chocolate milk...
...and I'm thinking and humming Sheila Majid's Warna... thanks Rose Mary Bateman, it does indeed feel good... :)
...Continued from this morning...
...Father's Day Fudgies-In-A-Tin with a Cuddly Bear...from Firman to his beloved Dad... :)
...this tin also works well for Jules Fudgies-In-A-Tin!

Jules on Holiday...
It was a really wonderful full week of just lazing and frolicking with my four guys...
We visited the Mini Zoo...though in much need of TLC, the wide array of wild pheasants and monkeys really thrilled my boys! And were they jus smitten by the peacock...
The trip to the Museum Tentera Darat Port Dickson was very educational and fun; it's indeed a trip worth making
...wish the holiday could just go on and on and on and on and on... :)
...sigh... but we're all back to reality now. The goons are fully recharged, but it was mommy who had to paste a packful of 'koyok' all around her shoulders and neck after that week long escapade! Having fun with 3 highly energetic boys is no joke, especially when one is a koala!
...And, amidst all this fun and frolick, there were those who lost their loved ones... and specially to the family of my husband's MakLang, we wish you love and strength...
To those still floating in wedded bliss, may you all be blessed with lots of love and patience, insyaAllah...
All in all, it sure feels good to be back with all of you, back to my routines, deadlines and chauffering! I truly hope you all had a fab break too, and thanks so much for staying with Jules! :) ...and Jules will finish up on her Father's Day projects!
...this Jules Fudgies-in-a-Tin was for a really sweet guy from his really special gal, for his birthday... :)
