Jules on her looooooooooong silence... :)
Haloooooooooooooo...........! :) I wish to apologize for the ever so very long silence. The truth is, I really hadn't the time nor the groove to seat myself in my chair and work at the computer. It's been running, running around, and I've only managed to update myself through my phone! And, because of my heavy running around these past weeks, I've also put on hold all my bulk orders, namely to my ever so dearest TM friends.
But, today, I told myself that I MUST post an update...I MUST, I MUST, I MUST! Another reason why I MUST post an update today is because there may be another stretch of silence coz my family and I will be away on holiday starting from Raya Haji until 8 December 2009. But, before the holiday begins, Jules will be at ASTRO with her fudgies and some boxes, on 25 and 26 November 2009. But, I'm afraid my stint at ASTRO will only be for the inhouse folks coz they're not open to public. It's just that darling husband managed to get me a little space there, where I can have the opportunity to spread some of my fudgy and box addiction... :)
Okay, anyway, I'd like to share some pix/videos of my going-ons these past weeks, coz thru my sleepless days and nights, these are the things that make it all worthwhile... :)
12/11/09... my goons helped me pack all the 60pcs blankets and other stuff for my Rumah Tar Charity Drive...
...all set to deliver all the goodies to the wonderful folks of TM Bakit Helwa, namely Aunty Yeanti...
...Kerepek La also contributed some of their goodies to Rumah Tar...
14/11/09...Esfahan at his "Hari Penyampaian Hadiah"... ...Esfahan and his classmates...
...My Abang Long received a Certificate of Achievement for Bahasa Malaysia (Pemahaman)...
..."Dua Sekawan"...Esfahan & Danish...
...Abang Ngah and Abang Chik, rooting for Abang Long...in their own adoring way... :)
15/11/09...Celebrating Esfahan's 8th Birthday (actual birthday was 16/11/09)...with the Daud Clan and Said Clan
...Mommy's own improv to her fudgy...for a very special BEN10 birthday celebration!...
20/11/09...wedding favors for Nila&Amir's niece...a gift of luuuurve...:)
22/11/09...Goody bags for the darling girls and boys of Krista Taman Nirwana... That whole week I was busy preparing these bags and Damascus had helped me fill each one with fun stuff, eg colour pencils, colouring book, story book, stickers, fan, bookmarks...
...All dressed up and on the way to the concert with Ayah, who was MC for the event...:)
...Abang Long met up with his old Krista Gang, who are now his current SK Desa Pandan homies...
...Acus and Kesh in action...they first danced to Lady Gaga's Poker Face, and then to Pitbull's I Know You Want Me...
Amidst all my busy-ness, there was a very sad moment for me...when I lost my cousin, Azrin, to cancer. It was on Monday, the week I was busy preparing for the Rumah TAR Charity Drive. He was younger than me and he leaves a wife and 3 children, all about my boys' ages. That was actually the start of my silence really, because, as much as I had wanted to share my feelings, I just couldn't find the right words to explain how I was feeling. But, as the charity work started to come in, and then I got busy with the boys' concert stuff, my emotions settled and my sadness went away... I will remember Azrin always, and as I continue with my life, he shall remain as one of the elements that have enriched my life...
And, as we continue on with work, and kids, and all those other stuff, let us never forget to be thankful for everything that we have... it will help us to be better people, do better things... InsyaAllah... :)
Until I return from my holiday, I leave you with the tunes that my kids grooved to at their concert recently... :)... Have a safe and meaningful holiday!

Jules Autumn/Winter 2009...Continued...
I told my boys to start with shower while mommy ties up a few things very quickly. I checked in on them and their bathroom is now a "water basketball arena"! So, before the arena evolves into a "water bomb park", here are more boxes and tin which are currently available at JulesAddiction, for your viewing pleasure... :)
A specially embelished "Out Of Africa (Medium box, with handle)" for baby Farah Alexandria...

Front view...
Rear view...
Inside...
"Out Of Africa (Large box)"
"Out of Africa (Small & Large boxes)"
"My Fair Lady (Large tin)"
"Bugsy (Medium box, without handle)"
"War Of The Buttons (Small box)"
Jules Autumn/Winter 2009 Boxes/Tin ~ Small, Medium, Large sizes
...clockwise from top : "War Of The Buttons (S)", "Jewel Of The Nile (S)", "Breakfast At Tiffany (S)", "Bugsy (M)", "Out Of Africa (L)", "Out of Africa (S)", "My Fair Lady (L)". Each design can either be in Box or/and Tin...
For a Jules Tower presentation, I suggest the Large and Medium Boxes, plus the Large Tin...
...for the Medium Box, you can choose to have it with/without a handle...
A few weeks back I received an enquiry from Natalie who asked if there was a bigger sized brownie, as her sister was thinking of organising a party for a large group, which would require something like a 3kg cake. I sadly told her no... I couldn't shake the thought off my mind coz it really pains me when I can't meet my customers' request/s. So I pursued to look for a solution for such a situation. And recently, on one of my "shopping" trips, I found a baking platter that was big enough to fill 2 recipes of JulesFudgy...
The above (2 recipes) is in a Large "Rustic Charm", which measures 16inx12in, and is priced at RM75.00. At the moment, a 2 recipe fudgy is the biggest that I can make, coz a bigger one wouldn't fit my oven! I hope I can make more people happy now!
As for the boxes/tin above, please email me any enquiries or order ya... Tar Tar, and have a fab week!

Jules's "MALATOP"
"Dah siap", I texted Heska.
Then she replied, "Uuuuuuuu, neves2, tlg amek gamba n email sy? Tqs :)".
Then I said, "Oi, jgn disappointd lak nnt ek. Tau2 je la, me n cake deco ni, mcm budak elementary sch! Ok, nnt I send... ".
Then Heska said, "Hahaha! Xpe. Yg penting kerja you buat w love kan??? Kan??? :p".
I replied, "Of coz, all my work is filled w lurve...! ".
It took a while to mail the pictures to Heska, coz my computer and the internet were running at the weather's pace yesterday, but I managed to send them through finally.
Then came Heska's text again, "OMG!!!!! Love it love it love it!!!!!!!!! Tqs!!!!"
I replied, "Alhamdulillah... "
Heska had wanted to celebrate the fab work of "Cuci" with her "Cuci" friends, and she asked if I could decorate my fudgy in a way that would commensurate her "ultra joy"! She also loved "Papadom", so, it shoud be like a 2-in-1 thingy. And she was saying things like fireworks, pompoms, and all that bang! Hmmmm...sigh...hmmmm....... Ting! A light bulb appeared! I remembered the platter I had seen earlier, the centre was a American football field and on the side were some fun football stuff. And I thought, 'the whole 9 yards...' Yess! With some fluffy mini and large marshmallows, some fun party works, and with goons pulling at my tail whining and pining for extra marshmallows, I finally did it...Alhamdulillah...
Yup, the reviews of "Cuci" have been nothing but fab. So I'm hoping to secure some tickets for this Saturday, and I'm hoping my parents will want to "keep" my goons this weekend, hehe...

Jules gets her groove back!
I had still been quite dry of ideas this whole week, until........... I bought the Lulu Guinness 2002 Collectible on Thursday! Weeeeeeeeee!!! I was at home minding my own business, when I decided to call my friend Puteri to ask about her new Longchamp, and that was when she told me about the Lulu Guinness Sale at ParkRoyal KL!.....Aaaaaaaaaa!!! I dropped everything and went straight to ParkRoyal, all excited and wired up. When I got there, it was actually a Moschino, Blumarine, Davidoff and Lulu Guinness Sale, 4-in-1. But who cared about the rest? Where's my Lulu, where's my Lulu? And then I saw...there was LG, offering her Collectibles at 90% off!!! Weeeeeeeeeee!!! There were only a few pieces, 6 or so, and my eye quickly caught something purple, something black...
I'd seen it so many times these past years, everytime I browsed at the Lulu Guinnes/ Le Sportsac section at Isetan KLCC, but it was something out of my reach, until of course, last Thursday. The lady beside me was also looking at the LG Collectibles and she commented, "Eh, so small la, cannot fit anything inside." Then I turned to her and calmly said, "It's not about putting anything inside, it's about owning a Lulu Guinness Collectible." She sheepishly smiled and left. I contentedly smiled, paid and left. And FYI, the lovely bag comes with a mirror and can comfortably fit a compact, a lipstick, and a handphone.
From that moment on, I got a turbo boost and have happily produced 3 dozen fudgies, 1 special gift and 3 wonderful boxes for my JulesAddiction autumn/winter 2009... Alhamdulillah... hopefully the energy and ideas will keep on coming, insyaAllah... :)
...a token for the Australian High Commissioner at the media BBQ...the 1st tier had JulesAddiction Coffee, the 2nd had Kuih Bangkit and the 3rd had Kuih Loyang...darling husband had gone by himself while I stayed home to mind darling goons... :)
...for Farah, thank you...hope the birthday girl was pleased... :)
...thanks Liza :)
...for Dinz's friend's brother's wedding... the Laura Ashley plate is still available in a very limited number... :)
These are the first 3 of JulesAddiction autumn/winter 2009 boxes, I'd expect 1 or 2 more to come soon...
Top:Out Of Africa; Middle:Jewel In The Nile; Bottom:Breakfast At Tiffany
I shall be making them in 3 sizes, ie. S,M,L, the pictures will follow soon. Please do drop me a note if you're interested ya, I'd need at least 2 days to work on them... :)
