January 2011 thus far...

Early mornings are pretty hectic coz all three boys must get to school by 7.30am, and though that should allow for more "Me" time until 1.30pm, somehow there seems to be more things to do this year leaving me with less time to myself. For one, I have to prepare more food for the boys throughout the day coz they eat so much more now that they're bigger, hehe. Esfahan's school work and activities have multipled, so I spend more time managing and supervising him, which include chauffering him around. Damascus and Marrakesh also need greater supervision now: indoors, for homework coz they are now in K2 and K1 respectively; outdoors, coz they are more active and adventurous these days.

And with all the other life matters, eg. weddings, funerals, family events, fitness programs, my days are really quite full.

Amidst all this, I have had the pleasure of making some special birthday brownies for some very special people :)

For Jay who loves Harry Potter...

For Min who's a CSI fan...

And something sweet for Yan...

There is one occasion that I would like to share with you here, it was during my recent trip to Kota Bharu, Kelantan, for my sister in-law's "Khenduri Menyambut". After the khenduri, I had followed darling husband to HUSM to visit his old school friend who was undergoing chemo at the oncology ward. It was a very touching moment, as I watched my husband and his friend spend that very precious 15 minutes as though they were at their school reunion party, reminiscing the heydays, catching up and exchanging encouragements; he was very weak and in so much pain, yet he was all smiles and laughs chatting with his old friend...the beautiful power of true friendship.

How blessed we all are for the love and good health that God has bestowed unto us, Alhamdulillah, let us always remember this...

And with your undying support towards everything Jules, which I truly and greatly appreciate with all my heart, Jules continues to contribute towards benevolent efforts, mainly cancer, Gaza/Palestine and world peace, insyaAllah... Thank you... xox... :)
