It has been very sad...

...last Saturday, 28 March 2009, I received such devastating news...one of our family friends, Dr Haliza Shafie, Dr/Aunty Tini as we knew her, had been killed in a terrible trekking accident...

There's not very much I can say now, without tears welling up in my eyes...she was such a kind soul... and my family and I will remember her always...

i am stunned and sad....not only she looked after my kids...but we went to matriculation together in australia. Tini was a fine woman indeed. She was smart too. I just didnt ride ing up those bikes as aggressive as Tini did back at Uni in 1976.

That is the best way for me to remember her....a chubby faced 2nd year Med student making sandwiches for the infamous flunkie, Dr Azhari Husin ( of JI fame ) and me , while we were fixing the carbs of a Yamaha 650....

Al Fatihah.
